PRIVACY POLICY

The Resource eLibrary is committed to protecting the privacy and accuracy of confidential information to the extent possible, subject to the provisions of state and federal law. Other than as required by laws that guarantee public access to certain types of information, or in response to subpoenas or other legal instruments that authorize access, personal information is not actively collected except where explicitly requested, nor actively shared. In particular, the Resource eLibrary does not re-distribute or sell personal information collected on our web servers.

This general statement excepts that the eLibrary does track and store Site usage for purposes of identifying coursework used with greater frequency by members, and verifying compliance with continuing education requirements. However, any such dissemination of information outside of the eLibrary occurs only with the explicit consent of the user.

Information collection and use:

Our servers are capable of collecting the following analytics:
• Internet protocol (IP) address of computer being used;
• Web pages requested;
• Referring Web page;
• Course traffic and registration data;
• Browser used; and,
• Date and time.

This data is not associated with individual user identities excepting course-specific registration or continuing education verification and is otherwise used primarily for troubleshooting and site access maintenance purposes. In addition to the IP address/browser information collected from anonymous visitors to the Site, other information is collected and stored during certain interactions, specifically:
• Communications and responses through electronic mail or other participation in site features, and
• "Cookies” information stored for ease of use of our Site. (Please refer to the "Cookies” section below for additional information.)

We may use information and/or data collected when you respond to a survey or course review or other request for input, or use other site features, in order to personalize your Site experience, deliver relevant content and promotions, or respond to customer service requests. Such non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising or other uses. This includes communication back to individuals who contact us via the Site. Visitors who register or participate in Site features may be allowed user preferences with respect to notifications and other communications involved in library access and/or webinar materials, including "members-only” content where applicable. Acceptance of such materials is not required unless explicitly stated, and you may raise any issues with opting-out by email request through the "Contact Us” portion of this Site.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights required to maintain our systems and keep such information confidential. All employees with such access are trained in confidentiality requirements, and any consultants or third-parties are asked to affirm their own individual and/or organizational commitment to confidentiality compliant with this policy. Any parties who assist us in operating our Site, conducting our business, or providing you service must, at minimum, agree to keep this information confidential. All sensitive information you supply is transmitted via secure technology and/or encrypted into our databases to be accessed only as stated above. The Resource eLibrary will not disclose, without your consent, personal information collected about you, unless disclosure is required by law, or necessary to enforce Site policies or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.

Cookies
The Resource eLibrary may use "cookies” in order to deliver web content specific to individual users’ interests or to keep track of online purchasing transactions which may be relevant to our products and services. These are small files that a Site or Service Provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if allowed) enabling the delivering system to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. Cookies may be used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current Site activity, and compile aggregate data about Site traffic and interaction to offer better experiences and improved services on an ongoing basis.

The Resource eLibrary may contract with third-party service providers to assist us with analysis of such data. These service providers are subject to the constraints referenced above, and are not permitted to use any information collected on our behalf except as explicitly directed to help us conduct and improve our business and services.

Sensitive personal information is not stored within cookies. You are not required to enable cookies to use our Site, and can choose to have your browser provide a warning or disable their use through your browser’s settings, as applicable. However, turning cookies off may preclude access to Site features which may make your experience more efficient or inhibit the functioning of certain Site-facilitated services.

Webforms and Third Party Links
Certain features of this Site may require completion of forms structured to receive contact information for purposes of registration. This is used only for organizational purposes and verification of continuing education or to send responsive material relating to the membership, course, or event for which it was collected, and will not be sold to any other party.

We may also include links to outside content on our Site for your convenience and in an attempt to provide you with increased value. However, the Resource eLibrary does not review, control, supervise or monitor these linked sites and makes no warranty or representation as to the privacy policies of these independent sources. These linked sites may have separate and independent privacy policies and the Resource eLibrary has no responsibility or liability for their operation or content. We do welcome feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work) in the interests of protecting the integrity of our Site.

Changes to Our Policy
This Privacy Statement was last revised on February 2, 2021. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Statement at any time and for any reason. We encourage its periodic review upon visiting and using this Site and continued use of this Site will constitute notice of all provisions stated herein.
